Hi, I'm Jackie!

I've spent more than 20 years helping people see the world, planning everything from relaxing beach getaways to European adventures and trips that have been on someone's wish list for years. I love the variety of what I do. One day I might be working on a multi-country European itinerary, and the next I'm helping a family find the right resort for their vacation or planning a cruise to somewhere they've always wanted to visit. No two trips are quite alike, and that's part of what keeps things interesting.

I started Epperson Travel because I wanted to build a business around the kind of service I believe in: personal, straightforward, and based on recommendations I can stand behind. I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing what they really want, and knowing they'll get my genuine opinion. I'll tell you when I think something is worth the splurge, and I'll also tell you when I think there's a better option. My job isn't just to book a trip. It's to help you sort through the options, make informed decisions, and feel confident about where you're going and what you're getting.

Over the years, I've built relationships throughout the travel industry and developed a real appreciation for the details that can make a difference in someone's vacation. The location of a hotel, the pace of an itinerary, the right cruise ship, or knowing when a private guide is worth the extra expense can completely change an experience. Those are the things I pay attention to when helping my clients plan their travels.

My own idea of a great vacation usually involves a little adventure. I love being near the water, kayaking, hiking, and exploring places I haven't been before. I'm equally happy spending an afternoon on a beautiful beach or wandering through a new city. And while I enjoy getting out and exploring, I'm definitely someone who appreciates a great hotel, a comfortable bed, and a good meal at the end of the day. I like to experience a destination, not just visit it.

At home, my husband and I have two kids, one in college and one in high school. It's a fun, busy stage of life, and I'm realizing just how quickly the years go by. It's also a good reminder to make time for the things we enjoy and the places we still want to see.

One of the best parts of this business is the relationships I've built with my clients. I love hearing about their trips when they return, finding out what they enjoyed most, and helping them decide where to go next. Some of my clients have been traveling with me for years, and getting to be a small part of those experiences is something I genuinely appreciate.
